Spring Shadows at the Hive Silverlake

Sadly, I missed the opening reception for this last Saturday, but the exhibit is on view through mid-April. The Hive Silverlake is a great, cute little hair salon with great space for art.

From Here to There is a collective of artists currently living and working in Los Angeles. Their practices range from photography to collage and include video, sound, and installation. They are brought together by their desire to combine personal perspectives to create a greater dialogue through their artwork.  They work  as a group to hone their practices, and fuel each other’s art through discussions, critiques, and conversations.

This Saturday! Silverlakers everywhere participate in the "Hi, Noon" project, where everyone takes a photo at noon on saturday, and uploads it to a flickr pool.  Participants can also submit their photo for a group show at the end of the month.
